General Information

The Go-Lab contest aims to inspire teachers from European countries and encourage them to implement in their class activities which involve the use of online labs in a multidisciplinary setting. In the framework of the contest teachers will have the opportunity to combine their imagination and creativity in order to experiment with their students using the Go-Lab tools and services.

The contest is targeting teachers from different European countries and invites them to deploy the Go-Lab online labs and the Go-Lab 'Big Ideas of Science' in their school and present how they used them in order to help students understand the connection between different concepts and phenomena they learn about in different science classes (astronomy, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, geology, physics)

More specifically, in order to participate to the contest, teachers will need to:

a) Implement an activity  with a class of students between 10 and 18 years old in order to demonstrate to them the connection between two or more concepts or phenomena they learn about in different science classes. The activity can be either

1) a Go-Lab activity

2) the Go-Lab "Big Ideas of Science" challenge.

b) Record the implementation process as well as students’ results and present them in the form of a report, or by making a video, a presentation or a poster.
