What is the contest about?
The objective of this contest is to inspire teachers to introduce a more multidisciplinary way of teaching in their science class. Participating teachers are invited to demonstrate how they used the Go-Lab activities in combination with the Go-Lab "Big Ideas of Science" in order to make their science lessons more multidisciplinary and make connections between different science disciplines.
 
How can I participate?
In order to participate you must first register to the contest. You must then implement a Go-Lab activity with your students, record it and submit an entry that presents the work you did with your students using Go-Lab
After finalizing your entry sent it to the following guidelines presented here by the 30th of April, 2016.
 
Can you help me build my lesson plan?
You can visit the "How to build your entry" section under the “CONTEST MATERIAL” tab. You may also check the Go-Lab learning activities, some useful tips and some useful links. You may also contact your national coordinator if you have any questions.
In addition you can visit the Go-Lab tutoring platform  and attend sessions on inquiry learning and the Go-Lab tools.
 
Can I collaborate with another teacher to create my lesson plan?
You may collaborate with another teacher, however, should your entry win; only one of you will win the prize.
 
Can I submit more than one entries?
Each participant may submit only one entry.
 
In what language should I make my lesson plan?
You lesson plan may be in any of the official languages of the participating countries:
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Cyprus
Estonia
Germany
Greece
Italy
Poland 
Portugal
Romania
Spain
Switzerland
The Netherlands
United Kingdom
 
If your entry wins, your lesson plan must be than translated in English.
 
 
What is the deadline for submitting a lesson plan?
The deadline for submitting entries is the 30th of April, 2016 23:59 CET. Submissions after the deadline of the contest will not be accepted. 
 
Will I receive my score?
Participants may request the scores of their entry after the completion of the contest by contacting their local coordinator.
 
What are the evaluation criteria?
You may see the evaluation criteria here
 
Are the entries that are submitted to the contest going to be made available?
After the completion of the contest the winning entries will be made available.
 
 
 Will I be informed if I win the contest?
Winning contestants will be informed via e-mail. You may also check the winners of the contest after the 31st of May 2015 at the contest’s website.
 
What is the prize of the contest?
The winning contestants will have the opportunity to travel to Greece and attend the six-days Go-Lab summer school in July 2016 on advanced technologies in science education.
